Remote Exploration Support — Accommodation & Messing
At DRC Drilling, we understand that successful exploration programs depend on more than just the drill rig. That’s why we own our own mobile accommodation and messing infrastructure, allowing us to support drilling programs in remote and isolated locations.
Our fleet includes three late-model Explorex sleeper vans and three late-model Explorex kitchen vans, providing a practical, self-contained solution for accommodating and feeding our drilling crews close to the work area.
By establishing accommodation and meal facilities near the drilling program, DRC Drilling can help clients:
- Increase drilling productivity by maximising productive hours at the rig.
- Reduce travel time between accommodation and remote drill sites.
- Reduce exposure to driving-related risks, particularly fatigue and travel on remote roads.
- Improve crew welfare with dedicated accommodation and meal facilities close to operations.
- Support remote exploration programs where suitable local accommodation or catering may not be available.
